Bezeq employs Friendly’s TR-069 IOT tester to test its devices for interoperability
Bezeq, Israel’s largest Telecom, deployed the Friendly TR-069 tester to perform automated Inter-operability Testing of CPEs based on the Broadband Forum’s TR-069 specification and the PD-128 test plan.
The tests help verify the compliance of devices to the TR-069 standard and help discover problems that are difficult to detect once the devices are deployed. The tests also eliminate the need to manually test the devices for TR-069 interoperability and compliance, reducing costs and time to market.
Based on Friendly’s TR-069 ACS, the tester offers a wide range of testing activities for devices implementing CWMP.
The specified test cases were selected by Friendly based on the functionality deemed most important to service providers’ ACS usage, and are conveniently grouped into “full test” or “partial quick test”. Test results can be viewed on screen and exported to a file. Tests can be customized and additional test scripts can be added at any time.
