Friendly Technologies Joins Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (WISPA)

Ramat-Gan, Israel (June 13th, 2016) – Friendly Technologies, a leading provider of device management solutions for fixed and mobile operators, is delighted to announce that it has joined the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association (WISPA), the leading industry forum.

WISPA, which represents over 800 members in the telecom industry, aims to promote, advance, and grow the fixed wireless community, with a member base consisting of both wireless Internet service providers and vendors serving WISPs. WISPA’s top priority is advocating for its members, encouraging the United States Congress and the FCC to write laws that support the success of the WISP industry.

Because Friendly Technologies serves a number of American WISPs, it was only natural for Friendly to join WISPA. Among Friendly’s customers are Ruckus Wireless, Rise Broadband, SmartWave, BIT USA, Reliance Jio (India), True ( Thailand), BT (UK), Deutsche Telekom (Romania), Beeline (Russia), On Telecom (Brazil), and many others.

By joining WISPA, Friendly further strengthens its position as a leading wireless broadband management vendor, with a unified solution that addresses both fixed and mobile devices. Friendly’s solution accelerates and simplifies the deployment of 4G LTE devices and services, supporting any device type over TR-069, OMA-DM, and SNMP protocols including fixed and nomadic LTE devices, femtocells, small cells, mobile hotspots, dongles, smartphones, and others.

“We are really excited to join WISPA. We are confident that our expertise will help many of the WISPA members provide a better quality of experience and increase customer satisfaction,” said Elan Migdal, Founder, and CEO of Friendly Technologies.

“WISPA is pleased to have Friendly Technologies join our family of fixed Wireless Internet providers.”, according to President Alex Phillips, “With the synergy between end providers, innovative platform developers, the FCC, Congress and manufacturers, products, policies, lobbying, and other services receive immediate attention. This keeps our industry on the cutting edge and competitive with major carriers.”
