Friendly Releases Version 4 of its TR-069 Device Management Platform

Friendly announced a release of version 4 of its TR-069 device management platform. The software is used by carriers and xSPs to manage devices such as routers, modems, IAD/RG, STB, ATA/VoIP devices, IP-phones, and more. Vladimir Litman, Device Management Product Manager, says, “The new version of Friendly’s TR-069 Device Management solution is built for enhanced performance and is based on the most advanced Java technologies.” The new version includes support for IPv6 and the new TR-069 standards: TR-069 Amendment 4 and TR-143 (enables network throughput performance testing and statistical data monitoring for QoS). Additionally, the system includes improved monitoring for VoIP and Video services and improved Network Map view for the call center representatives
